What is the carbon footprint?
The carbon footprint is the amount of greenhouse gas emissions that humans produce when manufacturing a product or carrying out their daily activities, it is the footprint that our passage leaves on the planet. It is expressed in tons of CO2 emitted. It is an environmental indicator that aims to reflect "all greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted by direct or indirect effect of an individual, organization, event or product."
What is the carbon footprint registry?
It is a voluntary Registry that collects the efforts of Spanish companies, administrations and other organizations in the calculation, reduction and compensation of greenhouse gas emissions generated by their activity. The carbon footprint is a certification obtained by those companies that comply with the corresponding technical standards with the improvement of the quality of the Environment. Reyenvas in its commitment to the environment, and in response to climate change, has joined this voluntary initiative of commitment and involvement, reaching level 1 of said certification.
